Anne Brown earned her B.A. in Elementary Education with a concentration in English and Language Arts and M.Ed. from Northern Arizona University. Anne believes influencing a child’s life is not only an honor, but a responsibility she holds dear to her heart. She strives to foster a caring, creative, and safe environment where students are valued for their opinions, differences, and efforts. She believes every student can learn, and she seeks to find growth in both her students and herself. Lessons arise not only from successful experiences, but also from times of challenge. Thus, resilience, curiosity, and teamwork play a vital role in the classroom. A positive atmosphere where each child is stretched and challenged from his or her cognitive level, but still given a manageable task, is a must. Research-based practices and relationships with students lie at the core of her teaching, and she feels privileged for the opportunity to have practiced her art at All Saints’ Episcopal Day School for the last decade.
