Lower School

A child’s educational journey at All Saints’ Episcopal Day School begins in lower school: pre-kindergarten through fourth grade. The goal of our Phoenix private school curriculum is to provide a safe and stimulating environment where children can learn through exploration, experimentation, and play, while gaining increased confidence each year in their academic, creative, and social skills.

The lower school faculty and division head work as a close-knit team to provide a rich, challenging learning experience within a secure, nurturing, and supportive atmosphere. Spacious classrooms, small class size, and experienced teachers allow a balance of structure and freedom conducive to maximum academic and personal growth. There are two pre-kindergarten classrooms and three classrooms at each grade level in kindergarten through fourth grade that make up our private Arizona elementary school. Faculty specialists in music, art, science, technology, library science, Spanish, and religion/life skills work with the classroom teachers to integrate many of these disciplines with core academics, further enhancing students’ learning experiences and bringing the overall student-teacher ratio to 9:1.
