The youngest members of the All Saints’ Episcopal Day School community come to school eager to learn, play, and form new relationships. Each day the classrooms throughout our independent Phoenix private school are filled with discoveries, as students begin to learn about language, numbers, and the world around them, all the while developing increased self-awareness. The core private school curriculum, which includes the Explode the Code phonics program and the
Fundations handwriting method, is enriched with Spanish, art, music, physical education, library, and technology instruction. As part of the Chapel program, students have an opportunity to make a chapel presentation. The year at our pre-kindergarten private school in Phoenix is full of exciting changes, some of them evident in the students’ beginning-of-year and end-of-year self-portraits, one of their art projects! They finish the year well prepared for the All Saints' kindergarten program.
There is a teacher and a teaching assistant in each classroom, plus special area faculty. The pre-kindergarten day is 8:00 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. Families can choose to have their pre-k student stay until 3 p.m. at no additional charge.
