A Letter from Jennifer Hipp

Development and Stewardship

With the emergence of COVID-19 in 2020, last year presented many new challenges for our school. We had to reimagine what community looks and feels like when we could not physically be together, we had to think outside of the box to keep our time-honored events and traditions alive, and we had to invest substantial resources to prepare our campus for continued learning amidst a pandemic. Thanks to the resounding support of our dedicated community, All Saints’ was able to provide the unparalleled, exceptional educational experience our students know and deserve, both in the classroom and online. For this, I am deeply grateful.
At All Saints’, our annual fund serves as the foundation of our philanthropic community and is a vital source of institutional flexibility and momentum for our school. As an independent school, annual giving equips us with significant financial stability—allowing us to focus on accelerating our resources to meet the needs of every student and cultivate their strengths, invest in key programs that set us apart, and further our vision of tradition and innovation inside and outside of the classroom. Your support also enables us to be prepared for and respond to our greatest areas of need. This year, responding to the COVID-19 pandemic is an example of how DREAM has funded our greatest need initiative. From outdoor classroom spaces and handwashing stations to innovative technology and upgraded IT infrastructure, your generous gifts made it possible for us to safely and effectively support our students, faculty, and staff.
As you will read in this year’s Annual Giving Report, our community also joined together in supporting our Tuition Tax Credit programs, helping to ensure that deserving students of all socioeconomic backgrounds continue to have access to an All Saints’ education. Additionally, with All Saints’ future in mind, our Capital Campaign Cornerstone Donors have made it possible for construction to begin on our new Academic Building—an exciting chapter we are eager to share with you all!
Every dollar gifted to All Saints’ makes an impact, and your support helps to further the important work we do with our students every single day.
As we reflect on the many milestones from the 2020-21 school year, I remain in awe of our community’s strength, resilience, and thoughtful generosity. Not only did we set an annual fund record, raising more than we ever have in a given school year, but we managed to continue learning in person (and even had a little fun while doing so!) despite the challenges presented. This school year affirmed what we already knew; All Saints’ is indeed a strong, connected community. Thank you for believing in our mission and supporting excellence in education.
With Gratitude,
