From Leo’s Desk: Long-time Educator. Lifetime Learner. is written by Head of School, Mr. Leo Dressel. Leo Dressel began his service as Head of School in July 2009. A native of St. Louis, he earned two degrees from Saint Louis University (A.B. in Philosophy and M.A. in English) and an M. Div. from the Jesuit School of Theology at Berkeley. Leo was a member of the Jesuit order (Society of Jesus) for 27+ years. All Saints’ is the fifth school that Leo has headed; his previous headships include a ten-year stint at St. Martin’s Episcopal School in the New Orleans area. Leo and his wife Jan are the proud parents of three married children and grandparents of ten.

Our Head of Middle School Mrs. Tara O’Brien writes Middle School Musings: For the Love of Learning. Tara O’Brien has been an educational leader for over 15 years and is dedicated to working with students and their families to create the optimal learning experience for each individual. Her passion is fueled by her love of learning and of helping others to discover the joy of becoming lifelong learners. She uses educational and neurobiological research to guide her understanding of best educational practices. She believes that middle school is an amazing time of life and is committed to the students, families, and faculty she serves as they undertake the exciting journey at All Saints’.
